FIRE AWARENESS COURSE
At the end of the 2 hour course attendees will have a greater understanding and awareness of the following subjects:
- Common causes of fire
- Fire prevention measures and hazard spotting
- Basic fire science and combustion
- Building design and fire protection measures including operation of the fire alarm
- The purpose of fire-resisting doors
- A premises emergency plan including evacuation procedures and contacting the Fire and Rescue Service
- Taking the knowledge into the home environment.
