Your fire safety management starts with having a suitable and sufficient fire risk assessment to identify the general fire precautions you need to take to comply with the Fire Safety Order 2005. If you do not complete one the Fire Authority could take enforcement action against your company and you. Also if you did suffer a fire without having a valid fire risk assessment your insurance company would be very unlikely to pay out a claim.
